Just curious. I have a set of OEM optional sides and will be getting a 97 type r lip or comptech replica soon. I don't have any hook-ups for paint work and would like to have a number to work with when I check the local body shops.

I can do the install myself, just need the paint work.

They painted the following pieces for me for $250

itr lip
2 oem optional sides
2 oem side skirts
2 rear valences

7 pieces total

 

Have you put the stock sides on your integra. How did they hold up?

 

lol..nice, your car will sound like it'll look like mine (if its white). I only had to pay to get my 97 comptech itr lip painted...of course, maaco quoted me $120+ for some reason, so I had some local guy do a side job for me for $60. I got the optional side skirts in the same color as my car so no repainting for me.

60 is a killer deal...

 

If you are speaking to me the stock side skirts were sold at a tiny profit. I guess they are holding up well since the guy has not PM'ed me complaining

 

I spent zero, do it yourself . I had a friend who had eyelids,grille,and front lip painted on his Golf IV for 100. Your stuff should be too high.

 

don't do it yourself. have it done professionally. usually cost is determined by paint color and brand. the labor is all the same.

No my teg is teal. Yeah $60 is cheap, I need to make a friend in the body shop business!
Although I once had a buddy paint my MR2 wing for cheap, and it didn't turn out so great....

 

I would love to learn how to do paint work, but not quite sure I'd want to practice on my integra...
