Default damn no wonder my car was so low.

my car seemed like it is too low so I took a peek at the springs as I started te get ready to jack my car up.

I see that my springs are COMPLETELY compressed... OMG! like seriously coil on coil... no space whats so ever in it. Every spring on the car is mashed.

Course I am like omg, no wonder the **** is low and riding like a pogo stick.

Thinking about a new setup now of fresh kyb agx's and eibach's... just not sure about pro kit vs the sportlines now? any opinions feel free to add something.

IMO the prokit are just not enough drop for me. Overall I am most pleased with eibach

I have the sportlines and will be installing my kyb agx's shortly

shoot, sorry should have mentioned that... I am a bit slow sometimes

they are a couple year old set of h&r race springs (which I like h&r they are a good company for me 99 times out of 100, but these suck).

maybe they were the wrong ones all along and I been killing/ riding on 2 door springs...

edit: I should add a picture of my clearance... I cannot put a pack of cigarettes any way but face flat on the ground, or I crush em. (its like an 1 1/2-2 inches of clearance max)

The only thing about sportlines...Ok if you want just a drop for looks and are planning on new wheels and still want to maintain a stock ride quality. I would opt for the pro kit it was much more forgiving. However, if you want performance to smack you around corners go for the sportlines, which I have and are very rough but very fun.

update: after much struggling with my old digital camera, I said faulk it and used a friends to take the pics.

ok sorry about the size of these I was not able to resize them... so I am going to link to them and not post them directly to save us all the bandwidth.

that object under my downpipe is a cigarette butt... standing on end...

edit : btw last 2 pics are of springs best I could get them with the zero wheel well room.

wierd...that brand of springs dont usually drop that low...are you sure they're made for your...with my experiences with spring installs they usually drop about 1.5 to 2.25..thats about the most i've seen..other than sprint extremes...but you shouldnt be that low for a set of springs..are they like this all around...all 4 springs...

yeah all 4 springs are mashed like in the 2 pics, and yeah I am thinking 2 door springs or something cause the excess drop.

pics of car coming, I had to make a ramp to get it out of my garage first...

i just did a civic that had tanabe springs with tokico 5 way adj shocks on it and i changed them to the prokit the drop was about the same but it made the car ride better and it had a better stance to it.

you should send this picture to the customer servcice at H&R and ask them how after two years of this car mostly not even drivcing, how did they manage to compress in this manner?

Wow, looks like there the wrong rating. I would call whoever and get a new set. Looks like an easy fix.
