b16a oil filter?? which one? quick!!!

Default b16a oil filter?? which one? quick!!!

i currently have mobil 1 "m1-104" oil filter for my b16a gen2. it looks a bit bigger (in diameter) than my original filter...so i'm not sure if i got the right one. please help me out asap!!! i'm doing an oil change it's going to rain outside soon.

Go to napa or your local honda dealer and ask for a 99-00 civic si oil filter.

i'm using mobil 1 5w30...so i'll use mobil 1 filter. if i go and ask them, what if they tell me it's mobil 1 m1-104. someone knows if there is a difference between b16s and b18s oil filter? so i don't have to drive to autozone or o'reilly's and get recommended to the same filter.

i used a mobile one filter once. Then i had to use a kitchen knife to bust into it to get it off.... ...all because i forgot to lube the seal and it's soo damn tight in that section i couldn't use the leather remover and my oil socket wrench wouldn't fit

i use oem now

uuhhhh... I'm not really sure why it would matter if the b16a and b18's have the same oil filter, 99-00 si only came with a b16... which is what you asked for a filter for.

oops my bad for telling them i have a 94+ gsr motor. i forgot there's the 99-00 si's. my bad.

thanks all for the info. b16s and b18's use mobil 1 (m1-104)
