Bleed your brake system (could be air in the system)

OR - your master cylinder and or power brake booster are going bad.

is the pedal hard initially and then it gets soft?
is it always soft and just stays soft?
when you turn the car off and pump the pedal does it get hard?
if yes, then turn the car on, does the pedal get softer?

thanks

did you even check the fluid in the reservoir?

to check the booster:

slightly hold your foot on the brake pedal
start car
when car is started brake pedal should slightly sink an inch.

To swap the Integra seats into your CRX, you will need to swap the entire seat pan. It is not too difficult. A friend of mine installed '92 Integra seats in his '91 HF this way.

Usually my brakes are fine, but sometimes if I drive all day long and it is really hot outside, my car does this as well... I have to give myself almost double the stopping distance. I have brand new break pads on the car, but I do have 18" rims... Usually if I'm just driving around a bit, the pedal is firm and responsive. However, when I'm out for a long time, it's almost like the pads are melting onto my rotors... at least that is how the pedal feels... That's a master cylinder problem too? Thanks.
