Hey how did you guys mount your 6" johnnyracecar/tyrus intercooler onto your 96-98 civics? I had a 5" that mounted fine, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to mount the 6". Cutting the bumper cover isn't a problem with me.

 

push it farther back against your radiator support. I have a 6 inch tall one also on my 97 coupe and I only had to trim some of the back of the black factor grill and thats it, fit perfect, 31 x 6 x 2.75 is my size.

 

do you have any pics of it mounted on yours? Did you use the stock mounting brackets on the intercooler? I only see one place they could be mounted, but It hangs kinda low. It does fit though since I already had the back of the black grill trimmed to fit my old 5".

Unfortunately, I don't...It's pretty easy if you hold it up there and look...I just bent the tabs at a 90 deg angle and they slid right into the inside of the sides of the bumper support.
