I have a d15b7. I really cant decide on what to do with it.

Should I do a mini me swap and put on the ex tranny, and a knew cam.

Or

Should I do a b18b swap and get a b16 tranny.

If I get the b18b I wont have money for other mods for awhile, but with the mini me swap I would have money left over for other mods. If you were faced with my dillema what would you guys do?
Which setup would make more power----and whats better for the 1/4 mile?

 

LS swap and b16 tranny if you want to go fast...i have a mini me with a ex trans and a new cam and its not fast...

 

Really, have you gotten it dynoed or have you taken it to the track yet? Have you raced any ls swapped hatchies? Just curious cuz that is something I was seriously considering.

What if I go turbo later would the ls b16 tranny still be best. I know ls motors are good for turbo but I have heard of people making good number with the sohc motors to. Is the b16 tranny and ls motor a good setup or would it be better to use the gsr tranny?

 

go ls and i would keep the b16 tranny. thats my opinion.
