Tranny/axle problems
I recently did an OBD 1 B16 swap into my 92 Integra. Since my car is a cable tranny, I had to go out and buy a different cable tranny (LS gears suck on a B16). I bought an S1 tranny, and was told by a number of people that my LS axles would work just fine. I went and bought some new ones, but the drivers side has 27 splines instead of the 26 needed. Are all LS axles like this or did they give me the wrong one at the parts store?
I am also having trouble getting my clutch cable attached. The arm on the tranny would move just fine before, but now it moves about 1/2 an inch. Even at full adjustment the cable won't go on. I am using a hydro clutch on the motor, but that shouldn't be an issue since the splines matched up perfectly on the clutch and tranny (26 splines all around). It's a clutchmaster's clutch.
