Just curious. Is it allowed to take the license plate off of the front bumper? Im thinkin of gettin a body kit. I see lots of people have them off but i m not sure. i live in cali. anybody know

u stick a screw through each hole on the top of the plate and then screw each screw into each hole on the bumper...

and in cali it is illegal but it is a $10 fix it ticket, 95% of the time if u get stopped u wont get a ticket for it, i didnt this morning

 

It's illegal, but i haven't heard of anyone actually getting a ticket for it. I've heard that leaving the licence plate on the passanger's side of the dashboard is okay, but i don't know if this is true.

in some states they ticket for that too...but yeah, i've gotten plenty of license plates tickets in cali... good stuff huh???

i know florida doesn't require you to have a front plate...read the new super street there's an article on state laws about front plates, how low can your car be..and other misc. topics...

Wow that really sucks. My friend had a vanity plate on his Audi and he never got a ticket. As for california auto laws, you can just go to the dmv site and you can read the entire California Vehicle Code for your own pleasure.

damn, just $10? ****, in texas it's about 10 times as much.

 

Im in ottawa Can, and Ive gotten 4 in the past three months, 140$ each, ********..

 

i think everything is illegal in cali sheesh

soooo, put the license plate back on. i'd rather have a front license plate than multiple $100+ tickets, or even one ticket for that matter.

The reason why I havent put it back on is because I dont have one, Somebody stole it while I was parked..
