Default Got backed into!

I was shopping and all of a sudden my pager alarm went off. I usually get really paranoid (it is a typeR) so i usually head back out to the car. Usually its nothing, but today.... I was shocked.

My front end was a disaster.

Right side headlights are done, bumper is horrible, rad support is caved in, right side fender is pushed up... Too many things.

I guess its time to go jdm front end right? I didnt want to spend any more money on the car, but looks like i will have to.

Im wondering though, could i find a parts car and take parts off a 94-97 accord and retrofit it to the car? They look really really similar and it would probably be cheaper to do it this way.

I tried searching but i didnt come up with any solid threads.... Thanks guys... Im really really upset at the moment. My baby is hurt..

Thanks guys.

Nick.

Accord will cost WAY more.

JDM front end almost bolts on minus the radiator support welding.

94-97 parts will work, youll need the headlights, corners and bumper cover, but you wont have the lip! There was a guy that had a 98+ on here that converted it to the 94-97 US integra look. I dont think it will be that much cheaper...

No .. I called the cops but they cant do anything .... I know it was a red car though.. as much as its worth...

I cant even go through insurance because in canada lately insurance is crazy. Any claim at all raises your rates.

I would take the raise in rates depending on how much it is and how it will affect you in the long run.

I dont get this comment? Putting accord stuff that looks almost identical on wouldnt be trying to make it look like anything....

Im lost?

Its very similar styling thats all .. And it was a simple question ... Im not trying to bite anything or .. or play my car to be something it isnt.

It is similar styling yet the body parts are completely different.

Like I said, the jdm front basically bolts on without major modifications except the radiator support.

Accord front would look like ***. Get the real thing. Much cheaper than all the custom **** you would need to do.

Are you sure? I always wondered what an accord front end would look like on a teg, photochop, anyone?

So you didn't catch the bastard who hit the caR?? that sucks!

If you have full cvg Ins, it should be paid without question.

Good luck on the repairs, but please don't use an accord front end= crap.

That's a JDM front end...for the love of god do not put an Accord front end on a Type R. Either fix the USDM or get a real JDM.

your rate increase won't be as much as you will spend on getting the car fixed... think about it. Save the money, that's why you have insurance.

just my 2 cents!

I hate them too.

Once I witnessed some dork woman in a huge Ram trying to back into a spot. She's already having trouble, as she's totally on the wrong angle. All of a sudden, idiot jams on the throttle and CRUNCH, straight into a brand new Maxima. Same thing, rad is busted, lights busted, etc.

I yell at her "wtf, you fucked up that car bad"! She's like "I know, I'm leaving a note".

What does the note say? "I hit your car, please call me". No plate or phone info!

So I quickly owned her by filling in the missing details. **** you!

Yeah, I just tried searching (thought I remembered the members name) but couldnt find it. It was a while ago and the member traded all the 98+ front end parts for 94-97 parts. Sorry dude.

If it was a 98 CW it might look kind of cool to go with the 94-97 and the 97 ITR lip, but otherwise go JDM or replace the stock parts.
