Default Tech question for the Vancouver guys (brake pad related)

Friend and I tried to install Project Mu Titan Kai pads (for EK4 Civic) on my '00 Si tonite; the front ones don't come close to fitting. Do you guys have this problem with your SiRs? TIA

Where'd you buy them? Take them back if they don't fit.

Osaka

I'm thinking the US spec cars use a smaller caliper; hoping the BC guys can confirm this (i.e. if they have no fitment problems).

Yep, the Project Mus (fronts) are too big Rears fit perfect.

I sold a guy a set of NA-Y for the EK4, and he had the same problem. I just assumed the shop in Japan gave me the wrong set, but it seems like the JDM-spec EK4 front caliper is different from the Si.

I'm just wondering if the Canadian SiR has the same fitment problem.

I remember someone mentioning before that Endless pads for the EK4 need to be machined down a bit. Hope that helps Shane, Ben should know.

hum hum !!! EK-4's caliper is completely different then the EM-1. EK-4 caliper will be the same as the Delsol VTEC EG-2 or EJ-1 Civic coupe Si/EX. We have tried some other pads to fit to the EM-1 and finally find something thats in the same shape but we just have to mill them about 1mm to fit cuz the pads were thicker.
