White Smoke- CEL-43 Help!
Hey guys, as I was driving home from work I stopped off at the local parts store and picked up a quart of oil. Poured it in, and drove off. About 10 minutes later on the freeway, all I see is pillows of white smoke shootin out the exhaust. So much you couldnt even see the car behind me, almost looked like a forest fire. Anyways, Its white smoke- sometimes bluish white. CEL popped up and the car is runnin like crap 20 seconds before I get to my house. Bogging and still shootin out white smoke.
Is it bad rings? headgasket? coolant? (although it is white smoke, im not having any cooling problems). Checked the ECU and it threw a 43. 43 is for Fuel Supply System.
What exactly am I looking at? A lot of people solve the problem by throwin in a new o2 sensor. But the o2 has its own code. What does fuel supply have to do with me blowin white smoke?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank guys!

to be honest I wouldnt be surprised if you put too much oil in the car. before you bug out, change the oil and make sure you place the proper amount in it. If this doesnt solve your problem, I'll pray for you
. If it wasnt doing it until you put the oil in than Im sure you have too much in it. Good luck

Yes, like Deep said. Check your oil level. Worst case scenario is that you blew your head gasket. Check the oil to see if it's a sludgy brown color. If it is, you blew the head gasket. Otherwise you may have put in too much oil and it's seeping into the cylinders.
code 43 is an 02 related problem. if you have that much smoke in the exhaust, you're probably going to upset the o2 sensor. theres all sorts of reason that you blow smoke. do a leak down, see whats up
Oil level is fine. Drained the pan just to check. This one is buggin me cause I dont have the time right now to be messin around under the hood until my next day off. If I can pinpoint the problem, then itd be a lot less time consuming.
