Well i wanna know either to rebuild my motor with 125k or just buy a new motor with less miles? Some say rebuild some say get new motor what do ya'll think?
I have 137K on my 95 and it runs fine, are you experincing any problems that would make you consider a rebuild? I figure I wouldn't rebuild till I hit 200K
i was talking to my friend today he says it would be better to rebuild it,but if it gives you really big problems, while your rebuilding you could add new jg edelbrock pistons, rods, get some skunk2 or itr ctr cams skunk2 cam gears you could get all that and more for the price of a stock gsr swap not only will it run beastly but why take the chance of buying another motor that might give you problems shortly after you install it.
Why are you rebuilding in the first place? Is there something wrong, if so what is?
Just having 125k on a Teg doesn't mean rebuild time, its barely getting warmed up if its been properly maintained.

If your rebuilding it then why in the hell would you want a new engine?
Do a compression test and that'll be the indacator of the condition of your engine. Also, I highly recommend just building the current engine in the car. Seems like way much hassle and its pretty much pointless if there is nothing wrong with it.

Here I wrote you an Itinerary:
Step 1 - Buy new motor
Step 2 - Build the **** out of it to handle mad boost ( oh yeah, and a little squeeze to help her spool )
Step 3 - Drop it in your ride and install the T-28 Garrett turbo
Step 4 - Feed that Fu@ker 20Lbs. of boost and enjoy
Step 5 - Clean the **** out of your pants
Good Luck....
