recently installed an autometer oil pressure gauge on my 98 lude. I just replaced the stock sensor with the sensor provided by autometer and cut the stock wire. I didn't use a t-fitting and was wondering if this could lead to problems. i mean, i have no use for the "idiot light" but should I reconnect the factory sensor using a t-fitting or is there no need??
