i just got a 99 ex with a b16 swap,and ive noticed for a wile now that my throttle cable doesnt mount like the stock si cable mounts to the throttle body,so my friend told me that it was a gsr throttle body mounted to a b16 manifold,this wouldnt surprise me because this motor has some things changed around on it.(like ls tranny,which really sucks).but today i got a wild hair and decided to check it out and measure it,62 mm,and i checked many times.so im sure its 62 mm,that sounds kinda big for a gsr throttle body.can someone tell me if i have a type r throttle body please

 

search and no its not a type r -type r=65 which i believe.

Its 62mm.

 

Depends where you measured it ... at the flapper or just at the inlet to the manifold.

ITR is 64mm at the manifold down to 62mm at the actual throttle body/flapper.

 

then its not a type r,this one is 62 mm at where the intake bolts on ,so does that mean its a gsr
