Water where the spare tire is?
anyone with 96+ hatches.. or any civic for that matter.. get water where the spare tire is located? this happens when it rains a lot here in seattle..
my rear interior is also stripped, including my panels.. ive heard it could be comming from the tail lights..
anyone else have any ideas?

i second that notion make sure its not cracked or ripped if it is then you can get some new stuff usually were they sell car paint
I noticed this happening in my crx, I got a new weather gaurd strip thing and it still gets in there sometimes but not as much as before. Just one of those things that you have to deal with when owning a honda/acura.
yah, i have the same problem. took it to my honda dealership and they said there was no leak. a week later, it rained and there was water where the spare tire was at. i think it is coming from the tailights.

I have the exact same problem in my 00 hatch
it has been painted though, so I thought it would have been that, but maybe it is a defect if it seems to happen to alot of hatches...
lousy hondas... jk

i have the same problem on my 96 EK...
i think its coming from the sides of the trunk lid...
if u look carefully... there is a gap.... and nothing
blocking water from getting in....it will eventually
drain down into the trunk area...
sux a nut....
