Default accord headers

This guy is giving me free headers but the headers have three bolts that connect to the exaust. I want to keep the stock exaust and I was wondering if anybody knew a way to make the three bolt header fit into a two bolt stock exaust?

Have a muffler shop cut off the three-bolt flange on the header and weld on a new two-bolt flange.

just replace the flange.

or buy a testpipe that has 2 bolt on one side and 3 bolt on the other!

why keep stock exhaust, you upgrading header for persformance, exhaust is the next thing to upgrade ~

just to let you know, you're header isnt gonna do much with the stock exhaust, its just gonna bottleneck like crazy.

Is it going to be bad for my car if i put intake and headers and no exaust? If not will it still give me some power.

Well you would be going from a fairly open system from the intake through the header and once you hit the exhaust (or cat portion) your car will bottleneck. To get the most gains out of i/h/e you would need the 3 together.

Since stock exhaust is near 1.25" compare that to most systems running 2.25" to 2.5" . Its like going snorkeling with a straw.

It doesnt matter if it's an automatic, the engine still makes power and air still goes in it and fumes out of it.

A new exhaust system isnt that expensive, you can get a good one for between 300 and 500 bucks. Kteller is a store on hre that builds custom exhaust systems and you can save money by doing this.

If you got those for free, just imagine all the money you saved to buy your exhaust system!
