Default H22 swap questions

IM currently working on an H22 swap in my 92 prelude Si. I had a few questions maybe someone could help me out with. On the left side of the head underneath the distributer there is a sensor there and another silver pointy piece that sticks out. Im thinking the sensor is the VTEC oil pressure switch? If so mine is broken and i'll have to replace it. Im just not sure what to order from honda. Would it be possible for someone to take a few pictures and email or post pics of the wiring and the plugs you wired into for the VTEC pressure switch and the VTEC seloniod and the location of the VTEC pressure switch? I've done honda swaps before but this is the first H22 ive ever done and its my own car so I really dont wanna mess it up. If someone can help me out i'd appreciate it. Thanks

You would get better responses in the hybrid forum.

well, i can give you your wire colors....your car probably has vtec already wired in...youll have to check....your wires are A4 green with yellow stripe...vtec solenoid....youll have a brown wire and a baby blue one...thats your oil pressure sensor, and ground...its located in your D plug..at the ecu...i think the pins are D6 and D24...for those...also if your cars wired for vtec youll know..look on the passenger shock tower under the hood, look between where the factory airbox and shock tower is, if theres a grey plug with the green and yellow wire there, that ends in tat plug your chassis is already wired for vtec good luck

do you know where the oil pressure sensor is located on the engine? I have a broken sensor below the distributer that nothing is plugged into and thats my main problem right now but thanks for the wire colors. I dont think my car is wired for VTEC so i'm gonna have to pin into the ECU, which got smashed in shipping BTW
SO im going to have to buy a new ECU too because the shipper wont cover me.

check the wire colors on the broken sensor, if theyre blue or brown its your oil pressure sensor, if the sensors plug has the green and yellow wire, its your vtec solenoid...peace
