Default Gauge wiring question! (already searched!) Please help! :)

Well...I am done installing my electronic oil pressure sensor, firewall distribution "T" and the line for my boost gauge...tomorrow I am going to finish the install and wiring but I have a few questions first!

I have been serching for a while now and not been able to find answers!

I'm just wondering about the power supply to my gauges, I am going to run power from the fusebox...while searching I found some pictures that interested me!

I am looking for a place to power both of my gauges, I need a switched 12v source for the back lights, and an ignition switch for the electronic oil pressure gauge.

I found these pics in other threads...(I'm borrowing them )

I'm wondering about the row of five connectors where this guy is pointing...

Can I run the power to my gauges from there? Which ones are which?

Here's another pic I found...In this one, I am wondering what "a,b,c,d,e" are...

Here's another pic where there are some wires running into where I am talking about...

Can I use these extra spaces to power my gauges? And if so, are they all switched 12v sources? or are they all different? is there also an ignition switch there?

If anyone has any info I would be greatly appreciative! Thanks!!

If you're going to do ANY wiring, then you should at least pick up a test light - it's like $5.

It'll tell you everything you just asked.

I just found this!...

Is this universal for all cars?

I guess I could get out the voltage tester if it comes to that...I'm just not very good with that contraption.

you should be able to use one of those spots (a b c d e) for an accessory, such as a 12v switched w/e it may be, foglights... backlighting for gauges...etc....use a test light and go through all of them, put the test light on one, turn your lights on and off and youll find the one that you can use. i use it in mine for a 12v source and it works great. slip on a female connector and your ready to go.

I went out and tested mine...for those of you who would like to know...

on my car EJ1...

a - constant (always on)
b - ?
c - ?
d - switched 12v (comes on when you turn your headlights on)
e - ignition 12v (comes on when you turn your key to "on")

Does anyone know what b and c are? I used a test light and couldn't get it to light up on terminals b and c...

A) constant
b) constant
c) ignition position II
d) parking lights
e) ignition I

this is according to the integra helms, should apply to EGs as well. they're alll fused by their respective circuits, although it wouldnt hurt to fuse on top of them either.
