Default which block with which head?

i am planning on building a powerful and upgradable motor and i was wondering what everyones opinion was on which setup is best. would a b16 block with a gsr head be better than a gsr block with a b16 head or just stay gsr?

the b16 head flows better... i think the cams give it more compression, too... if i'm wrong about that i'm sure someone will correct me.
