Default Over filling the oil?

Because it's an old honda... i have to put a litre or oil in every little bit between oil changes.
All was good when i was driving around with my buddies he noticed oil was dripping down the fenders and all over the front. We took a look and i forgot to put the oil cap back on (idiot, i swear it's the first time lol) by that time i had driven about 100kms like this and it's all over my engine and hood so i buy 4 litres of oil dump it all in thinking for some reason that it leaked that much.
Then we're driving later that day about 150 km trip and then i notice at 5+ plus rpm and only when i give it more than usual throttle there is tons of blue smokecoming out of the exhaust and the dude that was right on my *** backed off me lol. but anyway i was freaking out cuz i thought it was some blown gasket but then i remembered the oil and havent had the time to do anythign about it.
my question is should i just let it burn away or drain some of it (it's past the MAX on the dipstik)

I swear that was the dumbest i've ever been to my car.

DONT DRIVE AT ALL

You will blow your engine... The crankshaft is spinnig up the oil, turning it into a bubblie liquid. Then it doesnt lubiricated, and it cloggs up the oil galleries.

Yea I wouldn't drive. I don't know about the bubbles but I do agree with the first guy and you can bend rods.

Not to argue... but put oil in a pan, turn it up with a egg beatter (like the crankshaft in the oil would do) and see what happens.
