? for those that've tried KVR's on teggies
I had a set on my CRX. They worked wonderful when heated up, but man it took alot of work to heat them up...light car maybe? And they really did a workout on my rotors.
What are your experiences with them? When I'm talking about work to get them heated up, they stopped worse than stock pads when driving around town normally, I had to slow down from 70 to 0 about 2-3 times to really get them heated up for them to perform awesome.
Dust, noise, rotor wear?
thanks, I'm looking for an autoX pad that I can leave in for the street. Porterfields sound like a good option also, but the noise and dust are deterring me. I'd also like to get something that performs better than stock.

This would probably be better suited in the competition forum. I personally have in my possession Hawk HP+ fronts, AEM rears, and brembo blanks for my 90% Daily driving 10% auto-x habits. This came from the advice of many other people in the competition forum.
I highly suggest calling up carbotecheng.com and asking them also, as their service is awesome and they won't steer you wrong. It sounds like you are eyeing track pads instead of something better suited to your habits, but I may very well be wrong. That may be why your pads are rotor aggressive and don't bite well when cold.
