Default Brake wear only on drivers side rear

I installed new pads all round about 2 months ago, but the rear drivers side pads are worn down to the metal almost. They make a scratching sound like there skimming the rotor as the car moves when the brake pedal is not being touched. All the other pads look brand new, but only the rear drivers side pads are worn all the way down and need to be replaced any day now. What can cause this wear?

I took them off twice, put on some "brake stop squeek" on the back of both the pads, but it still makes the noise. Any ideas on what could causing this wear?

I had the same thing happen to me, 2000 Si. Happened first on driver's side (rear), then 5 months later on passenger's side (rear). Brake calipers seized up (both times). They were replaced by Honda under the extended warranty I had purchased.

99% certain that's what's happening to you. Is that wheel particularly hot after driving?

Its hotter than the other rear wheel.

Is there any way to fix this without buying a new caliper? If not, then I guess I will save up for a bigger brake system.

I'm afraid you'll have to save up, and fast. Otherwise, your funds will be going towards brake pads every few weeks.

Out of curiosity, is your car a 99-00 Si?

you can have the caliper rebuilt.

it usually runs around $50 per caliper. check your local import parts places....
