It all depends on what you want the car to do.

For autocross I run 1.9 front and 1 rear on my '00 Si.

Maybe you should specify what you plan to run your car in (Autocross, road racing, etc) and what kind of car it is.

i plan on doing both auto cross and road racing

the kit i hav only goes to a 1.75 either way

that's why i was thinking -1.5

I do road track racing, and a very occasional auto X. I run -2.3 front -1.5 rear. It's a good starting point for a track car in my book. Corner speeds have greatly increased.

thank you

my kit only goes to 1.75 so i'll probably go with 1.75 up front and 1.5 in rear or would having them all the same be a better way to go?

thank you again

Forgot to say for the least uneven tire wear. No toe as well.

1.75 will not create excessive inner tire wear. toe will indeed.

Personally just from messing with mine I typically put less in the rear than what I run in the front. This is personal but at that level, you should be ok with the handling.
