ITR muffler has supposedly 40% greater flow than a regular integra muffler. I dont think the muffler is as big "choke" as compared to the bottlenecks in the ITR exhaust piping.

get a full type r exhaust, then you won't have something quite as loud, but still kind of restrictive, cause of the bottlenecks. Def. an upgrade from a GSR exhaust. And what did you search for? I can put in itr exhaust and get good finds.

Good luck

I wouldn't be concerned with the fact that the ITR muffler would restrict flow but rather how much power will the muffler hold until it "pops" .. I'm sure that if you modify your engine enough, there will be a point where the muffler will get shot due to all the added exhaust trying to escape ..

also note, I dont think ITR and GSR exhausts are the same, meaning they dont bolt up without modification, so keep that in mind. (double check though, Im not positive)

the rear section bolts up perfectly, in fact it also bolts up and use the OE hangers on EG/EJ1 civic coupes (i know its way OT but what the hell!)
