i know these are 94-97 tail lights, but why does the outline look black? or is it just the picture?

 

it's just the pic. it's dark red.

 

oh okay heh 94-97 looks much better than my 98+

 

I agree, thats why I always stuck with the '95s.

Contrary to what you say...everyone likes the way 98+ taillights look... I mean everyone..

I would love to have a pair of 98+ lights, I think they look so much better. For some reason when I look at them they look fuller and look like they fit better. Also my car is red so I would love all red tail lights.

Funny how that car in the pic has 94-97 tails, but the 98+spec bumper. I like the all-reds myself, orange just clashes with everything.

didnt the jdm integras have the tail lights with the amber corners? ive seen people with 98+ integras get the 94-97 tails for the "jdm" look

I've got mint tails on my 95 GSR. Its milano red so i'd rather have the 98+ up. How much cash do you want on top of the exchange? Im interested.....

 

IMO it completely depends on the color of the car that makes the older or newer tail lights better.

i've always liked the 98+ but on a few certain colors the older ones don't look that bad.

 

I like the 94-97 tails better as well. I like how in pics they seem to have a dark outline and I also like the contrast of the amber. The 98-01 tails seem to look better on black,yellow, and white tegs.......but that's about it.

i definately agree with that, on black, yellow, and white the all reds are nice but my car is milano and i think an all red car with all red taillights just looks weird IMO

yep, I have milano too, and I've tried 98-01, didn't like. Went back to my 94-97, the darker red outline gives good contrast between the taillights and the milano red teg.

i HAVE 94-97 tails, lmk if you wanna do a deal.

 

I put the 98+ tails on my teal teg, and it looks way better in my opinion. Without the amber contrast, it makes the paint look bluer, not greenish like it did before.

have you seen a user Patrick94GSR on HT? he has a teal green teg too but with 94-97 tails and i think those look better but thats just me

 

the all reds 98+ do look better on certain colors, black,white,silver...but for my burgandy teg i prefer my 94-97 tails..

 

i like the way 94-97 USDM tails have the darker outline around them on black cars.. the JDM tails have an all red look but with amber corners that i like too.. but im a fan of the 94-97 USDM..
