yes...mpfi swap has nothing to due with a headgasket.
i would just do everything at one time though....

yeah....but if your head gasket is causing you to burn oil then i would change that too when you do the mpfi swap.....your gonna have the i/m off anyway.
but your oil burning could be valve seals, piston ringsm or any other number of things
