Default skidplates for 6g HB

does anyone have this for their 96+ hatch? if so where did you get it from? im planning to get this mod to protect the engine and trans...also cause of the cool sparks if i drive over some bump fast.

are these the same plates that all the top speed japan cars have on their cars? or are these the ones that are usaully found on jacked up 1988 4 cylinder toyota pickups?

I havent heard of that being done, but I imagine that if you are *SET* on it, you could custom make one easily

someone in japan HAS to carry these things! or like thefly said, you prolly can make one, outta sheet metal or something. good luck!

that pic looks cool but due to the fact those hooks stick down further than the "skidplate" Iwould assume that is just a steel diffuser type thing and it probably just adds weight. I could be wrong though

I have a question...

Are there any teams piloting civics in rally racing? They would be the ones to contact about skid plates.

I would be interested in this information as well.

i would be more iterested in a sort of aerodynamic skin for the undercarriage of my car than a "skid plate"....but let me take a trip down reality lane for a second here...i have an EK which my co-workers keep telling me looks like a "pregnant rollerskate"....EK=aerodynamic to begin with? not as good as the EG!

HART has a 6g hatch that does rally. it was in super street sometime in the earlier part of 2001. you might want to check them out.
