Stock CD Player Acting Up
For a while now, my stock CD player in my '98 Civic EX Coupe hasn't been functioning properly. It doesn't read any CD I put into it, even CD's that have always worked and played in it. I'm thinking about just getting a new aftermarket CD/MP3 player since mine isn't working at all, unless this has happened to someone else and they know how to go about fixing it.
i had the same problem in my prelude ... some kind of lense read error ... and this stopped working while i was driving so i was like wtf man ... but its straight ... just give it a few days clean the cd thorughly and try again later with a non burned cd preferably(worked in my case) ... if that doesnt work run to walmart and get a lens cd cleaner for bucks that ought to do the trick ... good luck ... pece
