Default 4 to 5 lugs?

Ok, newbie, and a technical moron, so bear with me.

I got this great deal on some Lexani Krystals (rims) that was hard to pass up, they basically fit into my 97 Accord LX. Biggest problem is they use a universal 5 lug mount, whereas my car has graciously provided me with 4.

I'm wondering if it's possible to change the hubs, or anything in order to provide a 5 lug mount for these rims.

I hear it's possible but it costs $$$ up the wazzoo, so I'm looking for any ideas as to how it can be done, and I'd still be curious to know whats involved in the more expensive solutions.

Anyone help me out?

It's possible, but the parts may be difficult to find. Basically, you'll need to pull some parts off a 95-98 Odyssey.

I suggest you check this site out:

It's really not that expensive if you use junkyard parts...

Yes, he switched from a 4 lug hub to a 5 lug hub along with bigger brakes. You don't need to do what he did by putting bigger brakes on also. But he does tell you the parts needed to swap from 4 lug to 5 lug.

Someone IRL indicated that a different hub would almost definately require different brakes. What you guys are saying is that using that little tutorial, I could switch to a 5 lug without changing anything other than the essentials and relevants, e.g, hubs, not brakes?

I could be wrong but I though I read something about another rotor, from what car I can't remember either, that could be used to keep your smaller brakes. Not saying you can reuse your old rotors, sorry for the confusion. I may still be wrong, I could be mixing two different thing together. Sorry for any misinformation.

You could always email Martaigne and ask him. His email address is in that how-to article.
