1996 Accord LX Power Door Locks Problem
Ok, here's whats happening. I press the lock button on the driver's side door, and the 2 passenger side doors lock. If I press the passenger side one, the same thing happens. The rear driver side door can be locked manually by pushing the lock down. The driver's door can't be pushed down.
For now, to get my car locked, I need to press the lock button, manually lock the rear passenger door, and then get out, and use the key to lock the driver's door.
Any ideas what the problem is or how to fix it? I have heard that I might need a new "lock actuator" but not sure if I would need this in both driver side doors or not.
Thanks,
Chris

i know on our 95 coupe if i use the power lock button it won't lock the drivers side, so what i do is,
when i press the lock on the door i quickly with the other hand pull on the inside door handle and it allows it to lock

Well, it appears that the rear driver side door lock is the source of the problem. My neighbor who is a mechanic said the lock motor was shot and that was overriding the lock button. Any idea what this part is called and where I could get one?
Thanks,
Chris
