someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you can buy Penzoil? Syncromesh just about auto parts place and it's the exact same thing....

don't know this firsthand, but I've read a little on it....and I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express....

J/K...can anyone confirm or deny this?

how about you skip on the friction modified and just purchase the full synthetic gm syncromesh a.k.a. Castrol Syntorq LT 75W-85

GM Part # 12346190
Chrysler Part #4637579

go to gmpartsdirect.com to get it for $11.50/qt.

what i posted isnt the regular ****. there are 3 forms of gm syncromesh:
1. regular
2. friction modified
3. full synthetic.

i posted the part # for the full synthetic ****. btw, its used in viper manual transmissions.

works great in my tranny (b16a2)

i found some at a local dealer. I guess no one knows were to get it online...

only problem is you have to change it like every 9k or less.

It's really quite strange, it takes about 300 miles to really start working... then it's good for like 8-9k then in about 2-3days time the tranny feels like **** and starts grinding again.

I think the "friction modifiers" wear out quickly in honda trannys. But for that 9k miles its UNBEATABLE

Ain't the friction modifiers one for Limited Slip Transmissions only?
