Rear Speakers
I am going to install rear speakers in my hatch and I will not cut the factory plugs on the speaker wires. Are those ends easily found? Would regular metal ends found at Radio Shack fit into the plugs or do I need the actual OEM plastic plug? Anybody with spare OEM wires, HELP ME!! I want to install with no cutting or splicing or taping. TIA.
Well on my accord i cut the plastic OEM clip off the wires and then i went to Radioshack and got some of those male/female connectors and clamped those onto the wires and havent ever had a problem since....Thats the easiest option...

Why its not hard?

Umm, why won't you cut or splice? You know somewhere along the line you'll have to cut, splice, or strip something, right? And if you're worried about a weak connection, you would have already tried cutting and solderin.
Well, those Plastic Clips are Actually just protectors for Crimp Connectors.
Inside is just a plain old Crimp Connector.
Neat little plastic protector though.
Pop off the plastic piece, and you can just use the Crimped Terminals on most any speaker.
