Choosing correct bearing colors for main and rod bearings.
I'm putting together a bottom end from a 1'st gen B16a.
Couple of quick questions......
1.) Helms says to use the letters stamped on the block, and those on the crank to choose the main bearings. The letters were stamped upsidedown on the block. That's normal right? Or am I reading them wrong?
2.) The identification mark on the crank for the 1'st main bearing had the letter and the number on it. The other 4 had just the letter. It was B3. Any reason for this?
