Default Replacement tires for ITR.....HELP

What tires should I get???? There is no way I will buy bridgestones, $185 a piece.
Should I get 195 50 nittos or get a 55 series????? What about Falken azenis????
I want a performance tire, but I would like to find some thing that will be decent in the winter time. Any help?????????

I think you should do a search...I'm betting there have been a good 10 recent threads about rubber...

You would probably find some info on a search. I've seen the other tires people go with, and I'm planning on just getting another set of the Bridgestone RE010s. I love the way they perform. Last time I checked, Tire Rack was selling them for $140. I think that's a good price for a tire that performs so well.

Any tire you plan to drive year-round (yes, even in NC) will be a compromise. You will either compromise the winter performance or compromise the summer performance. You can't have both unless you have two different sets of tires.

All weather w/o snow or ice : Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's. 205/50/15 or 195/55/15

Summer only: I like my P-zero. But, many good tires around now.... Azenis, S-03, T1S, etc.

I just purchased a set of Azenis and I would have to say

Probably not to good for winter though

In the words of the great nsxtcjr, there is no compromise.

First Choice: Falken Azenis. High performance hybrid compound. High limits. Not for extremely cold weather or ice/snow. Very cheap.
azenis to be snow tested soon enough....
