oil pressure
i recently swapped a sohc vtec zc into my 91 dx hatch. after about a week of trying to get the distributor wiring right, i finally was able to take the car for its first ride with the new motor. after about 5 to 7 minutes of driving, the dummy oil pressure light came on.
to make a long story short, i replaced the stock oil pressure switch, and after driving my car for about 30 miles, i noticed the light flicker once or twice. the reason i replaced the stock unit with a new one, is because i couldnt find the right adapter to hook up the mechanical oil pressure guage i bought. and i figured the old one was bad.
does anyone have any advice as to why my dummy light keeps flashing. i know i have oil in my car, so thats not the problem. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Go buy a copper oil line for a mech oil psi gauge, you can find them at advance/autozone. It will come with all the fitting needed to replace your electric dummy light. Be sure to use teflon tape on the fittings too.
