I'll keep that in mind next time I have to drag the foundation of my house over a few inches.

What kind of boost numbers did the Cummins see? I am assuming it is a Cummins, am I wrong? I am really suprised that it was able to keep traction on the rollers!
Guess I am going to have watch the video.

That's what I'm talking about. Anyone else interested in this stuff, especailly if you are a Cummins fan, check out TDR1.com
There are more then a handfull of guys running twin S440's @ 90psi of boost + propane & nitrous making 800+ whp and 1600+ wtq on the 5.9L P7100's and over 1000whp and 2000wtq on the 8.3L Cummins from the motorhome's.
As far as engine goes most just do as Jack said O-Ringed heads, ARP studs and that's about it. Maybe a reground cam and some heavy duty valve springs and injector pump springs a ported head and spin it to 4,000+ rpm's.
I've been fasinated with diesel technology and performance since a lad, as I grew up hearing, smelling and yes even tasting (
) diesel from my old man's contsrutcion business.
Am currently a proud owner of a P7100 12Valve Cummins as well. With a few tricks.

If you've ever seen Cummins internals, you'd know exactly how.
The connecting rods are bigger than my forearms

Naws or pane? Or both? You can see the tie downs straining to keep the beast on the dyno
Regardless, Cummins ownz. The fastest guy on thedieselstop.com (a Ford Powerstroke website mind you) apparently has a Cummins swap into an F250 (!!).

I must admit that the Cummins is definitely the easiest to mod. They can make the most hp with the fewest tricks. The power potential is crazy.
Don't tell my PSD buddies but...when I was shopping for my latest truck, I considered the Dodge. The two reasons why I didn't get it were 1) the crewcab isn't as big & 2) the auto. tran isn't as advanced as the Ford (or GM).

Nice vid
I get quite a bit of smoke from my lightly modded 7.3 PSD, but nothing like that.

I looked at them too...but those rear seats are really small. Cummins is a great motor, too bad the truck surrounding it is such a pile of crap
I was filling up my truck the other night, and the guy next to me had an 82 GMC dually with a 3000-lb custom bed (contractor) and a Cummins out of a motor home. Said it gets 19mpg on the highway with the manual trans and Gear Vendor overdrive
