When I used a cf hood, I probably did it 3 times a year, with no problems.

its basicly exactly what it sounds like. It is a detailing product that is a special kind of clay, and you rub it on your car with detailing spray for lube, to get very small contaminets off your paint, expessailly before you wax. It will make the paint become extremly smooth. There are little kits that comes with clay and spray, for <$15. I have used Mothers and Clay majic now, and I like the clay majic better, plus it is a tad cheaper.

Its basically like color sanding with a high grit sand paper, make simple and marketable for us consumers

yes it will work but wetsanding and buffing would give it a smoother and a more glossy finish. Also if you have a friend in a bodyshop, you could wetsand, then ask him to spray a few layers of clear and then wetsand and buff for a better result.

no, claybar basicly only gits little grit that builds up. Like if you get water spots that won't wash off, claybar is what you need.

For those little scratches, first try rubbing compound, and if that doesn't work, wet sand with something like 1500 grit and if that doesn't work, keep going down in grit. However, once it does get it out, then you need to work your way up with finer grits (all doing wet) until it becomes extremely clear.

I work in a detail shop and in most cases clay bar won't remove water spots completely. We Use an acid that is safe for the clear to remove them. Works on glass too.
