Default What crossmember/traction bar kit fits big headers?

I've tried the avid one and it wont fit anything other than a stock header on a 1.8 engine in a crx. Do the jimfab,full-race, or z10 kits fit larger headers? Im thinking something along the lines of a b18c-R 4-1 header. Anyone have any input?Thanks...

As far as I know all of them do.
I am sure full race would forsure work with anything since that is a race part and it was made by a company that makes alot of turbo parts so they realize the room needed.

I've tried avid, and i've been reported to that the jimfab will not clear big headers. Im just looking for a kit that will cleanly clear a jdm 4-1 header on a b-series crx.

i just got my Full-Race traction bar earlier this week..i havent put it on yet but its fawking awesome..

heres some info from an email between me and Geoff, the webmaster at FR.

"The crossmember we manufacture gives more clearance than any other crossmember on the market, 4 1/4" inches more than jimfab and 2 1/8" more than z10. While we have never actually fit the jdm 4-2-1 style header, we have ben able to run a 4" downpipe for turbo apps, and i also know that the hytech header fits, with plenty of room to spare. Assuming that your header doesnt take up more space than a hytech, you should have no problems."

i had previously always planned on getting the jimfab x-member and asking him to custom make it to clear a jdm header, but after this email i was sold and ordered the bar a few days later. excelent quality.

This is my X member..it clears very well.I don't have the top view, but you can't really see the X member from the top-that's how much clearance it's provide

Thanks for the pic. What kind of setup is that and its kinda hard to tell really how much clearance you do have. But it looks like plenty. Do you think you can fit a 4-1 header in there?
