1. what are some decent brand names of brakes besides brembo >> i was turned on to SP rotors for about $240 and i want to see if you guys know anything about them >>
2. in order to change the rotors i was told that i need to also change the knuckle >> is this true or can i just remove the rotors and replace them with new ones?
any help would be appreciated

Hi there....
I got a pair of blank Brembos from http://www.thepartsbin.com Is not my first experience with them ,and they are great. For pasd I got ACT ceramic pads . I used them before and they are great. Before I used them in the back for a Maxima, and there was no dust whatsoever. Will see how good are they for the front.
Is not hard to replace the rotors...Just remove the calipers , and pull the rorors. They can be rusty ,so you may need to use 2 screws to pull them off. I think the screws would be 10 or 12. Also , to loosen them a bit, just hamer them a few times.
And from that point on, is quite easy.
