Default In the process of obd-0 to obd-1 conversion-HELP

I'm doing a conversion on a jdm b16a i was wondering if a usdm p28 ecu would get me to pass the cali smog ref or do i need a usdm p30 ecu?

Must have a P30 (well it has to be labeled P30). However the P30 code it what you really want to use anyways. It reads the O2 sonsor correctly.
