What are some commonly replaced maintanence items that are not listed in the helms or owners manual?

Items such as distributer ignitor.

 

Tires.

Brake rotors.

Cooling system hoses.

 

Dizzy cap, rotor. Brake fluid.

 

Brake fluid is listed at 30,000 miles. Cap and Rotor is also at 30,000 miles I believe.

 

Doh! my bad. Guess I need to read my Helms more Does it say check or replace, cos I'd replace brake fluid before 30, and cap/rotor regardless at 30 - 50.

 

with the brake fluid you replace at a certain mileage or year amount (i think 30k or 2 years).

does not go into detail of how to actually change the cap and rotor however.

 

I'm not looking into HOW to change things, just when.

 

It doesn't tell me to wash & wax regularly.

 

change the ignition coil

when you do a compression test, and forget to pull the ecu fuse

 

engine owner

actually isnt there an appearance section or something like that in the manual that goes over those things?
