Installed Vafc now CEL code 8

Default Installed Vafc now CEL code 8

Well my car still runs fine. I know its my throttle positon sensor but is it because i spliced into it??? Should i go through and redo it because i allready redid it once. I have no more ideas. Thx

Also NO Memory will i have to redo my settings all the time???

Check to see that the ecu pin is not pulling out of the factory harness plug. Check that the brown ground is about an inch closer to the ecu that the black ground. make sure you tapped into the wire and did not cut the wire. check your conections, try to use solder instead of vampire clips and butt conectors. if all else fails do a continuity test from the factory ecu plug to the tps plug.

the settings will hold if you took it out and put it in another car.

i cut the wire a half i didnt know i was just suppose to taop into it
