Default went to get my mom's oil changed and now her viper doesn't beep

after i took my mom to get her oil changed, 1998 civic, at a local econo-lube'n'tune, her viper keyless entry alarm still works, but it doesn't chirp. it's completely silent now, but the siren will still go off if the car is rocked.

can you guys offer any insight?

There is an option on the keyless unit it self were you can silent it so it doesn't chirp when you lock or unlock the car. On mine its the AUX button

i tried it, still doesnt work. the chirp, most commonly, comes from the same siren as the alarm correct? are there any master resets on the viper i can toggle?

Here is the trick:
1. open door
2. push button in this order:
arm - aux/trunk pop/ II - arm
3. close door
4 arm alarm... it should chirp

The button sequence depends on what type of keyfob you have.
