Ive done searches here, and havent come up with an answer...

I currently have the rear speaker kit in my Civic with the speaker grills that look like this:


And I know what the JDM rear speakers (the ones that fit US spec interior) look like...



My question is I have heard there was another kit made for the USDM 92-95 Civic HB with different speaker grills. I think that the kit was discontinued since none of the dealers ive gone to have anything other than what I currently have in my car.

Does anybody have pics of those grills/that kit in their car?

oohhh, i like that, i should pick some up for my hatch

 

I haven't seen any other kits for eg hatches, but you could probally pick some of those up on ebay...

 

Im not looking for the jdm kit. I have black paneling, and the jdm kit only comes in grey.

The other USDM speaker kit grills have lines or something across them (or so ive heard)... so again, just wondering if anybody has any pics.

the picture you have is the us spec gathers dual rear speaker setup its black. You can tell because the jdm setup has shorter cover. and the picture you can tell its usdm because of the rear paneling

 

Here is a link to the ones I bought. Halfway down the first page you'll see the pics. I bought the dual speaker llike in your pic. The other set is the ones you're looking for I think and they are JDM.

the top pic is the us spec (what i already have) and the bottom pic if the japanese eg5 rear gathers setup. It was not available in the u.s.

The reason i posted both was to show what I already have and then show that i ALREADY knew what the jdm rear panels look like (that fit the u.s. spec rear interior) so nobody posts jdm pics saying "I should get these..." or "maybe you are talking about this..." when it wasnt was I was talking about in the first place.

So.... does anybody else know what I am talking about?

Did you install them yet? Too bad I couldn't find a clean eg si to buy... Oh well my loss was your gain.

Yeah I did. They fit great and my buddy was jealous when he saw them. I left them unhooked because the speakers were gonna blow. Once i get some more money together I'll swap out the speakers. Thanks again bro.
