Swapping out d16z6 for d15z1 how wll it run?
I will be swapping out my d16z6 out for a d15z1 soon so I can build the d16z6 for boost. (project smog legal ninja coming soon!!)
Assuming that the z1 is in proper working order. Will this engine operate ok for an a-b car for about 1~2 months. I plan on using all of the d16z6's harness, sensors, and ecu.
Thanks.

Why is that? I was planning on slapping the vx tranny in there too so I can tear down the one in my si and put a lsd int it and maby steel shift forks.

Its just the z1 tranny is so long geared that it makes the car not fun to drive. A long time ago i saw a diagram vx to si wiring...but i think the only differences are the ecu and the o2 as well, you have to change some wires on one plug on the firewall or something?
Thanks for the replys guys.
I dont really care if the car is fun to drive. Just as long as it gets me to work for the month or so it will be in my car. Then I will take it back out and sell it or something.
