strut questions...
i recently lowered my car and had it slammed about 4 1/4 or so...pretty dumped...and im rolling on the stock struts...i noticed i was just riding the strut due to the extremely stiff ride..so the other day i raised up the car about 1 1/2 more...now the ride seems fine...my question is...by purchasing aftermarket struts...since they're designed for lowered cars...will the strut uhh how do i say this..compress lower than a stock one...cuz i'd like to lower my car back to that height once i have struts/camber kit...would it do the same thing and ride the strut...with it that low???
if they do..any suggestions on decent struts..not planning on spending too much...so i dont think im going adjustable...im thinking sprint...but i still have to do some research on the other names...
hope you get my question...

adjustable shocks are meant to be able to take the extra stress caused by such hard spring rates of aftermarket shocks... 4 1/2 inches? god man, are you trying to make daily driving impossible?

lol...naw...i can drive it fine...it keeps me from speeding..well..maybe 4' then..but it'll be different when i get rims...im sure it'll be rubbin so i'll have to go back up...would i still be bottoming out though?

Taken from the EF Forum. It's a how-to for creating more strut travel. An extreme idea, but so is your car.

naw...i usually just avoid them...my hatch i had before...it was probably closer to a 5' drop...i had skunk2s...and wanted them lower..so i removed the sleeves and perch...and just rode on the springs...ha ha ha..it was actually funny but yeah...here's what it looked like..
well, i actually dont have pics of it with the sleeves off..but here are some pics of it with the springs out..just riding on the strut...just wanted to see how it would look

I would go with ajustable stuts to. My car is lowered 3 1/4 inches with 205/40/17s and I don't rub. With as big of a drop as you have you will never fix the camber totally. I suggest raising it a little.
If u want to go that low the only shock that is going to help without actually damaging it badly or bottoming out is the Koni Yellows neuspeed version with 20mm of rod length so u dont bottom out.
