Buying a demo car is like paying the original MSRP on a used car; you're screwing yourself. You have no idea how the car has been driven, and the dealer probably doesn't even have proper maintenance records.
current cost of EX 2.4 5spd w/o navi, leather: $19,435 USD
current cost of EX 2.4 5spd w/ navi, leather: $22,850 USD
current cost of EX 3.0 6spd w/o navi, w/ leather: $23,158 USD
That brings up another thing: Honda is having a "sale" right now. In case if you didn't know, a "sale" usually means that the prices are much lower than the original selling price of the car, and the normal selling price during the year is ALWAYS below MSRP. This means that during a "sale" you can purchase a brand new car for less than invoice. Current factory-to-dealer rebate on accords is $1,000, ends 08/02, but there'll probably be another type of rebate through the month of August, so don't be too much in a hurry to buy a car.
If you're going to buy the demo car, do yourself a favor and get a stick up your *** and then later on you'll realize you've just screwed yourself twice.
