Engine and Window Problems in my 93
Hi guys,
I got a 93 Accord LX. Lately the damn car won't start about half the time. The engine turns over and sometimes even starts but then immediately(!) dies. When this happens I let it sit for a few minutes and then try again. I went to a mechanic because I needed a new cat-to-muffler and I told him about it. He said that engine maintenance requires an appointment and appointments cost $50 to set up. I said "No, thanks" and went on my merry way. I'm thinking it's a bad spark plug. Anyone confirm or deny?
To repeat:
Sometimes the engine turns over and does not start.
Sometimes it starts but dies about half a second after it starts.
Sometimes it starts fine.
Problem 2
The driver side window continually pops out of the track. This is a rather large problem because my A/C broke a year back. I now have no driver-side window or A/C. You can fix the window but it keeps popping out after a few uses and fixing it takes a minimum of 20 minutes. I don't have 20 minutes to spend every two days putting the window back in the track. I don't really expect a solution to this but I thought I would post it anyway since this is actually a much larger problem than my engine.

As for as the engine goes search for information about your main relay. This can cause the car to be just perfect one second and dead as a doornail the next. On the window track problem, God help you. There are so many quick fixes and blah blah blah but totally fixing the problem usually requires all new weather stripping and other junk. Good luck.
