Ecu light???

Okay so i got my car done today and the check engine light in the dash is NOT on but the light on the ecu is blinking a 5... code 5 is a MAP sensor light and no the bulb is not burnt out.... i dont know why its not showing a check light... and i dont have either o2 sensors plugged in and its not trowing a code for either of them? it runs but i am curious... can anyone help?

Pull hazard fuse for 1 minute.
I hear 10 seconds will work too.
This will reset the ecu.
If cel returns, check map sensor.

yes try that. the reason the CEL might not turn on is because it remembers the last code your car threw.
