EDIT: ok, i just looked at my alarm brain, and there is an extra place to plug in a plug, but it's for a 3-wire plug, but the other end of my proximity sensor wire is a 4-wire plug, so how would i be able to plug this into the brain? i also looked at the wires for the shock sensor, and they are orange, blue, black, and red. but the wires for my prox. sensor is blue, green, red, and black...so how would i wire this up???

Should plug into the shock sensor port on your alarm brain. AS far as installing it, you want it placed centered to the vehicle. In most hondas, under the center armrest area would be good. Dont adjust the single screw adjustment labeled "Factory Adjustment". The ones you mess with are the adjustment screws that run side by side. One adjusts the inner sensitivity and the other adjusts the outer. Make it as sensitive as you want.
Don't do it I had a prox sensor on my last car and all it did was annoy my neihbors myself because every time I heard it I would run outside to see if someone was messing with, but most of the time it was just a kid riding his bike by the car or people walking by it. If you have all the pins (door, hood, trunk) your good to go, you dont need the hassle of a prox sensor.

Your prox was not set properly...or are you one of those paranoid
types who wanted it set so that if a sparrow farted you would know. When
set properly a prox can be your early warning device to a crook to move on
to more easier pickings.

The prox. sensor usually just warns when you get close to the vehicle. I think the shock sensor is supposed to alert the alarm to go off. But if you want it to go off, maybe set the sensitivity Higher in the interior, and mild on the exterior. I hope you didn't mess with the factory adjustment screw....

damn, i know what a prox. sensor does, but NO-ONE has answered my question yet, how do i hook this ************ up??? some people tell me that it just hooks up to the alarm brain, but there are no sockets for it, PLEASE READ MY FIRST POST ABOVE!

</TD></TR></TABLE> You have a dual stage prox sen., your alarm is only single stage, soooo the red wire is 12v+, the black wire is ground, you can just ground it,or you can use the ground out when armed from alarm[orange also used for starter cut] that way the prox is off when alarm is off,[ no interferance to radar det.] if using both prox and starter cut, you will need two diodes to isolate the startercut relay and the prox, the blue wire is inside zone, that can go to hood/trunk pin ,blue on alarm, the green wire is outside zone use it to trip a relay to run parklights ,[parklights will flash on as long as outsid zone is disturbed,or alarm siren,or car horn,or small pizzo siren.
hope this helps 94

^^yes, thanks for that info. but i don't really know how to do all the stuff you just told me...for example, what are diodes? even if i knew, i wouldn't know how to isolate them...i basically have the red wire, black wire, and blue wire hooked up...but the GREEN wire is what i'm having trouble hooking up, i don't know what wire to that tap into

A diode is a "power gate" will only let 12v+ go through it one way[toward white band] and 12v- the other way.
If you have already grounded the black wire, you don't need them.
To wire green to relay , supply fused 12v+ to 85 on relay, hook up green to 86.
30 on relay will get 12v + or - depending on what you need to supply, say its 12v+ for a pizzo siren , so fused 12v+ to 30 on relay, red wire from pizzo to 87 on relay , and ground the black wire from pizzo ,[ also cap the 87a on the relay it is 12v+ when relay is at rest] now if outside zone is disturbed, pizzo will sound.
hope this helps.
